vibecoded.fyi publishes practical guides and independent profiles of public repositories using its badges. This policy defines the evidence and disclosure expected for that work.
Repository profile eligibility
An editorial profile must cover a public repository that currently displays a vibecoded.fyi badge and provides enough documentation or history for a useful article. Badge proof is pinned to a specific commit before publication.
Evidence and attribution
Project claims must be supported by public repository material, primary documentation, a reproducible observation, or an attributed maintainer statement. Articles link to the repository and pinned badge evidence and record the review date.
We distinguish what a maintainer says from what we independently observed. A profile is not a security audit, certification, sponsorship, or endorsement. We do not infer production readiness, code quality, user numbers, or commercial success from badge use.
Maintainer contact
When practical, maintainers are invited to check factual details and offer an attributed quote. Coverage does not depend on a response or reciprocal link. Maintainers can request corrections or opt out of editorial coverage.
AI-assisted drafting
AI tools may assist research organisation, drafting, code examples, and copy editing. Public claims still require source checking, and publication remains the responsibility of the editorial team. We do not fabricate interviews, quotes, tests, or first-hand experience.
Images and quotations
We use short attributed excerpts only when necessary. Project screenshots, logos, and other assets are reused only when permission or licensing is clear. Otherwise, articles use original or neutral imagery and link readers to the source.
Corrections
Factual corrections should be submitted through a GitHub issue. Include the article URL, disputed text, and supporting evidence. Material corrections update the page’s modification date.
Updates
Evergreen guides are reviewed when their underlying guidance changes. Repository profiles describe a dated snapshot and may not reflect later releases. The visible updated date and evidence commit indicate what was checked.
